Bộ đôi flagship của Huawei năm 2016 cuối cùng đã ra mắt với điểm nhấn là cụm camera kép với ống kính Leica. Như vậy Huawei P9 và P9 Plus là hai thiết bị đầu tiên của hãng trang bị camera kép với một camera truyền thống (RBG) 12MP và một camera bên cạnh monochrome (trắng đen) 12MP, kết hợp cả hai có thể giúp tăng độ tương phản bức ảnh lên 50% và tăng độ sáng gấp 3 lần trên điện thoại.
Theo Huawei, kết hợp hai camera cho phép điện thoại đo khoảng cách tới đối tượng ảnh tốt hơn, điều này cho phép bức ảnh của bạn tăng thêm độ sâu trường ảnh và làm nổi bật chủ thể rõ hơn. Không chỉ có thế, chủ thể trong bức ảnh của bạn còn có thể nổi màu lên trong khi nền hoàn toàn trắng đen. Điều đáng nói là camera máy được phát triển bởi chính nhà sản xuất danh tiếng Leica, trong đó kích thước pixel chỉ 1.25-micron và khẩu độ đạt đến f/2.2.
Tuy nhiên để đánh giá rõ hơn cụm camera mới này thì chúng ta sẽ cần trên tay thực tế.
Về thiết kế, chiếc điện thoại mới rất mỏng (6.95mm, viền màn hình chỉ 1.7mm) và nhẹ. Vẫn giữ chất liệu nhôm nguyên khối như P8 năm ngoái và các cạnh bo góc đem đến vẻ sang trọng cho thiết bị, đây rõ ràng là một sản phẩm thuộc phân khúc cao cấp.
Về cấu hình Huawei P9 sở hữu màn hình 5.2 inch IPS Full HD (trong khi đó P9 Plus là 5.5 inch Full HD với tấm nền Super AMOLED), 3GB RAM (P9 Plus là 4GB), bộ nhớ trong 32GB (P9 Plus là 64GB), pin 3000mAh (3400mAh trên P9 Plus). Bên trong bộ não của P9 là bộ xử lý Kirin 955 do hãng tự sản xuất. Huawei cũng ưu ái trang bị cổng kết nối USB Type-C mới nhất trên sản phẩm của mình và dĩ nhiên, chúng ta cũng có máy quét vân tay với tốc độ nhanh, độ chính xác cao.
